If you were one of those ‘odd’ kids in the playground that was into pulling the wings of flies and dissecting frogs, you are in for a technological treat!
The original HTC Dream Service Manual is available to download here, and is filled with gems like:
1. Remove the tape and disconnect Qwerty key
FPC
2. Disconnect the daughter board FPC connector
3. Unlock the camera connector
Stop. You are breaking your phone. Do not do this. Unless you want to weep openly at the loss of a beautful Android machine.

Cheeky monkey!! I am one of rhose odd “kids”, though I don’t know about pulling wings off flies.
A warning is in order though, dismantling your phone WILL VOID THE WARRANTY, so it’s best to know what you’re doing!!
