Google Being Sued Over Android Name

Unfortunately for Google, it seems that one Erch Specht, owner of Android Data Corp., is looking for a big payout following their use of his company’s name.
He also seems to be playing hardball, using for $100 million and asking for any Android-related products to be removed from sale.
Good thing about copyright infringement is…he seems to have a pretty watertight case on his hands. Specht has run the Android Data Corp since 2002, and has fair recourse to take action.
Why now? Well, Specht says it is due to the fact that Android is a persistent operating system. One handset would have been cool, but the Android OS has the potential to be around for a long time. Also, you have to wait until the mega-corporation is so invested that they can’t back out, don’t you? Otherwise that big pay-day might never come!
Strangely, he has heard nothing back from Google as yet, but I think that will change soon enough once the lawyers gets to serving those papers.
