Android 1.5/Cupcake Announced, SDK Available Now!
A glimmer of hope for Cupcake devotees out there, as the latest update from Google has been announced with a quick look for developers to get their hands on it too!
Android 1.5 shows a few of the things that Cupcake will be bringing to our G1s in the coming weeks(?), with features including APIs for virtual keyboards, integrated home screen widgets, live folders, and speech recognition.
The final builds are some ways off, but to have an idea of what’s coming in Android 1.5 and an insight to exactly how 3rd party app developers can make the most of Cupcake is exciting news.
Cupcake fans, they have not forgotten us!
